Free Screening of Ocean with David Attenborough Hosted by Sea Shepherd Australia
Experience the wonder of the ocean on the big screen and learn how you can help protect it.
Sea Shepherd Australia invites Hunter region locals to a free community screening of Ocean with David Attenborough on Saturday, 27 September 2025, 3:30–6:30 pm at The Place, Charlestown Community Centre.
This stunning documentary shows the wonder and vitality of the ocean, its fragility, and most importantly, our ability to protect it.
Following the screening, join volunteers from Sea Shepherd Australia's Newcastle Chapter, as they discuss the organisation’s recent Antarctic campaigns, including efforts to establish Marine Protected Areas in the Southern Ocean to protect krill and the wider ecosystem from industrial fishing.
